Join Amanda Roraback on a historic walking tour of Santa Monica. Starting from the Depression Era Art Deco City Hall, the tour will cover the history of Santa Monica from its Indian and Spanish roots to the 21st century including: Santa Monica and Hollywood, the birth of the pier, Prohibition and Speakeasies, the Great Depression and Muscle Beach, Santa Monica's role in World War II, the liberal 70s, the development of Third Street Promenade and much, much more.
