Spooky History at The CanTiki
Uncover the darker, weirder, and most fascinating corners of Southern California history! Join the Southern California Social Science Association for a special happy hour featuring rapid-fire history, cultural lore, and local legend.
We'll gather at The CanTiki in North Hollywood to hear some flash stories from local historians and researchers about topics like:
- the history of Dia de los Muertos & Iconography
- Ghost stories from history
- local Los Angeles mysteries
- and more...
Whether you're a historian, educator, researcher, or simply a fan of local lore, come mingle with fellow social science enthusiasts for an evening of lively discussion and atmospheric storytelling. You don't have to be an educator or member to join, but everyone must be 21+ (I.D.s will be checked at the door).
This happy hour event will take place from 5:00pm to 7:00pm when happy hour is in full effect. The cost of the event does not include food or drinks, but they will be available.
